The change from SABS Regulatory to the National Regulator for Compulsory Standards did not happen on 1st September, the last deadline  We are informed that it may occur 10 September or 1st October which will be very close to the dates for EU inspection.  SABS has provided documentation along the lines discussed at a meeting held 22 July. Namely, those facsimile documents that could be used by Members of Industry to apprise customers and others of the kind of changes they should anticipate in the course of trade.  The source document supplied by SABS has consequently been split up as follows:
